Yas Marina Circuit experience boosts F1R Fan Village at British GP

Fans staying in the F1 Racing Fan Village at this weekend's British Grand Prix will get an enhanced experience with Yas Marina Circuit.

For the fifth year running, Yas Marina Circuit will partner with F1 Racing to provide fans with additional entertainment, features and competitions all weekend at Silverstone, from Thursday to Sunday.

Fans will be looked after all day at the site based in the Whittlebury Park campsite, starting with fresh coffee and pastries in the morning before heading to the circuit, and on their return they can relax in deck chairs and enjoy ice creams, listening to a music set provided by a DJ in the evening.

Other entertainment on offer at the site will include slot car racing and quizzes, while a check-in desk will also offer fans the chance to purchase a ticket and travel package for the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at a huge discount.

On Thursday night, there will be a special showing of the latest film about the fearsome Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit: The Green Hell, at 9pm.

Yas Marina Circuit and F1 Racing will even take care of the post-grand prix blues, with a competition for fans to enter with the chance to win:

- Two three-day grandstand tickets to the 2017 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
- A one-year subscription to F1 Racing magazine
- A Ferrari or Red Bull 2012 F1 nose cone model from Amalgam
- Whittlebury Park British GP camping for 2018
