Show your support for Suninen!
Voting for the 2018 ‘FIA action of the year' competition is open - and we're asking for your help in supporting the WRC's nominee, Teemu Suninen.
The Finn's recovery after sliding his Ford Fiesta into a ditch at his home event - Neste Rally Finland - is one of 10 breathtaking moments from this season's FIA championships shortlisted for the annual award.
The winner will be decided by public vote, and by backing the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team driver you could win two tickets to a World Rally Championship event in 2019.
This year's Rally Finland was just the second that Suninen had tackled in a World Rally Car and the 24-year-old was quickly up to speed. Despite his hair-raising ditch excursion, he finished sixth, just 4.2sec behind defending champion Sébastien Ogier.
If you want a reminder of Suninen's spectacular performance on his home stages, take a look at the clip below and then head over to the FIA Action of the Year website to vote and register for the prize draw.
The competition closes on 27 November and the winner will be announced on 7 December at the FIA Prize Giving Ceremony in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Go Suninen!
