Renault Mégane Collection 2012: 3.5 litres/100km, equivalent to co2 emissions of 90g/km!

The Mégane Collection 2012 line-up sees the brand new Energy dCi 110 diesel engine, complete with Stop&Start technology, become available for the first time. With this new powerplant under the bonnet, Mégane Collection 2012 stands out as the most fuel-efficient model in its class, with NEDC combined-cycle fuel consumption of just 3.5 litres/100km. That's equivalent to CO2 emissions of just 90g/km and represents a saving of 15 percent.

The Energy dCi 110 is a radical metamorphosis of Renault's flagship 1.5 dCi engine. It features the same technology package as the 1.6 Energy dCi 130 and benefits significantly from the experience that Renault has gained in Formula 1 with regard to energy efficiency.

Mégane Collection 2012 is the Renault range's third model to benefit from the €400 'eco-subsidy" that is available in France, along with Twingo (90g of CO2/km) and Clio (89g of CO2/km).
