Jan Kopecký and Pavel Dresler won the Šumava-Rallye 2015 in the first outing of the brand-new Škoda Fabia R5. 1 minute and 35 seconds back, the Frenchmen Bryan Bouffier and Gabin Moreau got second in the Gemini Clinic Citroën DS3 R5. The last place on the rostrum went to Pavel Valoušek and Veronika Havelková in the older Škoda Fabia S2000. Roman Odložilík in the Impreza WRC was faster on many stages but lost a lot of time on SS 7 and 8. Some favorits retired already on the first day with technical problems_ Jan Dohnal (Focus WRC) after SS 1, Václav Pech (Mini RRC) in SS 3 and Karel Trněný (Fabia WRC) in SS 6.
