You’d Petter believe it on the ERC
Norwegian driver Petter Kristiansen is aiming to take part in a couple of FIA European Rally Championship rounds again this year, alongside his commitment to the Czech Rally Championship.
Kristiansen previously competed in the ERC Junior Championship two years ago, then took part in the Kenotek Ypres Rally Barum Czech Rally Zlín in 2015 in a ŠKODA Fabia S2000. This year he will do Zlín once more plus one other event with the Orsák Rallysport team, managed by ERC stalwart Jaroslav Orsák.
"This year I want to improve my skills on asphalt, which is why my priority is to compete on the Czech Rally Championship in a Super 2000 car," said Kristiansen, who has driven in the Czech series before in the Fabia R2 Cup. "I'd also like to add a couple of ERC rounds to my programme. I'm very thankful to Jaroslav Orsák and my partners for allowing these opportunities to happen."
Kristiansen, co-driven by Ole-Kristian Brennum, will kick off his 2016 campaign with the opening round of the Czech rallysprint championship.
