Road-going WTCR Volkswagen Golf GTI goes on sale

Orders are being taken for the all-new Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR – the road-going version of the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO racer of the same name.

With a top speed of 260kph, the car can reach 100kph in 5.6 seconds and features a number of ‘racing’ features to further enhance appearance and performance.

For the second WTCR / OSCARO season, Mehdi Bennani, Rob Huff and double FIA World Rallycross champion Johan Kristoffersson, will drive the race-ready Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR for Sébastien Loeb Racing.

A fourth Volkswagen-powered driver will be announced in due course with WTCR Race of Morocco selected as the season opener from 5-7 April.
