Remembering when… Breen took ERC Acropolis win in new car

Craig Breen recently claimed his fifth FIA European Rally Championship win on the Circuit of Ireland - his first came when the Acropolis Rally returned to the ERC schedule in 2014, when he was debuting the Peugeot 208 T16.

Breen's Peugeot Rally Academy team-mate Kevin Abbring led early on before being forced out by a water leak. Breen took over out front and his version of Peugeot's new R5 challenger withstood the notoriously tough Greek stages to help him to beat Bryan Bouffier and Kajetan Kajetanowicz.

This year's SEAJETS Acropolis Rally takes place on 6-8 May, with the event returning to Central Greece and the city of Lamia after 10 years away.
