Record man Ehrlacher ready to fight hard in WTCR
Yann Ehrlacher is preparing to fight hard in order to reproduce the kind of form that made him a Zandvoort winner when the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup visited for the first time in 2018.
Ehrlacher took an impressive victory – and set a new lap record – at the new Dutch Grand Prix venue when he was part of the Honda-powered ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport line-up last season.
However, his 2019 campaign hasn’t delivered the same kind of results, making the talented Frenchman more determined than ever to shine in his Cyan Performance Lynk & Co 03 TCR.
“It has been a frustrating first three WTCR race weekends this year,” said Ehrlacher. “But I know that we have what it takes to fight for the top and I really like racing at Zandvoort.
“I won here last year and claimed the lap record. But it’s not going to be easy this weekend, we will have to fight hard.”
WTCR Race of Netherlands takes place from 17-19 May.
