Polish return next up for Breen after triumphant ERC comeback

Two days after winning on his FIA European Rally Championship return on the Circuit of Ireland, the next event in Craig Breen's 2016 programme with Citroën has been revealed.

After finishing runner-up in the ERC standings last year after three full seasons in the series, Breen is contesting selected World Rally Championship events in an Abu Dhabi Total WRT-entered Citroën DS3 WRC in 2016. He finished a fine eighth overall on his debut on Rally Sweden earlier in the year, and his next appearance with the Citroën-blessed team will be Rally Poland at the start of July.

Breen will be able to count on some past experience of the event, having taken part when it was an ERC event in 2013. He will be team-mate to Stéphane Lefebvre, the 2014 ERC Junior champion, with the young pair sharing driving duties at the PH Sport-run team this year with established star Kris Meeke.
