Pieniążek stops out of ERC3 lead on final stage of day one

Łukasz Pieniążek was forced to stop out of the ERC3 lead on the final stage of day one on the SEAJETS Acropolis Rally.

Pieniążek had led the class from the start of the event in his Opel Adam R2, but was reported to have suffered a mechanical problem on the Paleohori 2 test.

That gives the class lead to Murat Bostanci, who had been 35.3s behind Pieniążek prior to the final stage.

The Castrol Ford Team Türkiye Fiesta R2T driver has 2m37.6s in hand over second-placed Zoltán Bessenyey, with Alex Filip in third.
