Orsák to make ERC comeback with brand new R5 Fiesta

Jaroslav Orsák will return to the FIA European Rally Championship on next week's Azores Airlines Rallye, driving a Ford Fiesta R5 for the first time.

Czech driver Orsák contested full ERC seasons in 2013-'14, finishing runner-up in the production standings before switching to a ŠKODA Fabia S2000 and taking a best finish of fourth on his home event Barum Czech Rally Zlín in 2014.

His comeback in the Azores, somewhere he's gone well on in the past, will come almost a year after his last start. Pairing up with his regular co-driver David Šmeidler, Orsák will drive a brand new Fiesta R5 from M-Sport for the Kimi Racing team.

Orsák is planning further starts over the remainder of 2016, and has already submitted an entry to the Kenotek Ypres Rally, which he finished in sixth place last year on his most recent rally start.
