Paris 2 October 2014: Ambition, confidence and passion are three qualities that define Nissan's presence at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Taking centre stage is the all-new Pulsar - a car that marks Nissan's return to the C-segment. Designed and engineered with the same unique approach and philosophy that produced Nissan's market-leading crossovers, the Pulsar makes its public debut at Paris.

Further exploring the performance theme is a dramatic new Pulsar NISMO design concept. Nissan's ambitious new product drive and the ongoing success of its current range is taking the brand's European production volumes to record levels. With more models reaching more consumers in more markets than ever before, Nissan is on track to become the number one Asian brand in Europe by 2016. Key to this success is Nissan's growing base of European production hubs in Russia, Spain and the UK that support local economies and bring innovative and exciting new models to market.

The 2014 Paris Motor Show also highlights Nissan's ongoing development of the NISMO brand - which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. In addition to the Pulsar NISMO design concept, Nissan is also unveiling a fully updated 370Z NISMO model. The new model features a number of key engineering and design updates that combine to deliver an even sharper and more engaging driving experience. The new model benefits from technical upgrades developed as part of the GT-R NISMO project, with the end result being the sportiest production 370Z ever offered.

Another new NISMO model guaranteed to set pulses racing at Paris is the new Juke NISMO RS. Shown in full production form, the 218PS Juke NISMO RS features a host of engineering and styling updates that deliver an even more focused drive.

Nissan's desire and passion to change the way cars are envisaged, designed and used is further highlighted by the appearance of the IDx Freeflow and IDx NISMO concept cars. Both IDx models were designed using a ‘co-creation' approach that allows consumers to become part of the design process.
