Munster back on track and ready for ERC Junior action

FIA ERC3 Junior Championship contender Grégoire Munster signalled his return to full fitness with a third class win of the season in his native Belgium last weekend.
Munster and co-driver Louis Louka suffered concussion in a high-speed crash on the Belgian championship TAC Rally in mid-April.
Ahead of this week’s ERC-counting Rally Islas Canarias, the promising pair competed on Rallye de Wallonie and overcame the physical and psychological test in style with a category win in a BMA Opel ADAM R2
“I’m delighted with my rally,” said Munster. “The weather conditions made it a difficult competition but, for me personaly, it was important to rebuild my confidence and that succeeded. We drove both well and efficiently. It was fortunate that after the TAC I was able to compete in Rallye de Wallonie because in each ERC competition you need to be 100 per cent. But the confidence is fully back on track and I’m looking forward to my next assignment.”
Munster will drive a Pirelli-equipped Opel ADAM R2 for the ADAC Opel Rallye Junior Team on Rally Islas Canarias, an event he and Louka are contesting for the first time.
