Sébastien Ogier (2nd) said:

"I'm happy with my drive this morning. We lost a little bit of time here and there - using all of the road in places - but I can't complain. It would have been nice to have taken a little bit out of Kris [Meeke] but we're setting the same pace at the moment.

"It's not all or nothing for us today. Of course we want to keep the pressure on and have a good rhythm but we know the nature of this event and we won't risk it all."

Ott Tänak (4th) said:

"It's been a lot better today. The first day was a bit tough but the team managed to solve all of the problems and the car has been really nice to drive. We lost some places yesterday so we're a bit early on the road but I think the pace has been good. We've had a nice clean run with consistent times so it's been okay."

Elfyn Evans (10th) said:

"I always enjoy rallying here, but let's just say I would enjoy it a little bit better if I was ten positions further down the running order. It's been pretty loose out there this morning but it's been okay so let's just wait and see what this afternoon brings."

Éric Camilli (1st WRC2) said:

"It's been a really good morning for us and everything has been working well. We had some issues yesterday, but today we've been able to really show what we can do. I've had a good rhythm, the partnership with Benjamin [Veillas, co-driver] is working well and the team have been great.

"It was difficult to come here without a test, but everything seems to be working well for us in this moment and we just need to keep going like this."
