Kajetanowicz back on the road and quickest on SS2 of ERC Acropolis

Defending FIA European Rally Champion Kajetan Kajetanowicz managed to get back on the road after his opening-stage crash on the SEAJETS Acropolis Rally and post the best time on the following test.

Kajetanowicz rolled off the road on a slow corner on the first stage but eventually managed to rejoin and continue, reaching the finish over 14 minutes down.

His LOTOS Rally Team Ford Fiesta R5 is showing visible signs of the incident but seems to be working fine, with Kajetanowicz beating rally leader Ralfs Sirmacis by 4.4 seconds to top SS2.

"I did a mistake, I was cutting too deep," said Kajetanowicz. "I was too close and we hit something and we rolled.

"Our Fiesta looks a little bit different from the start but it's working, so it's a really strong car. We were pushing really hard but there weren't spectators and we were waiting for many minutes. We are still fighting. It's strange but we had a lot of fun on this stage."
