Five DS 3s line up for Kuwait rally

Runners-up at the opening round of the season, Khalid Al Qassimi and Chris Patterson pursue their Middle East Rally Championship campaign at the Kuwait Rally in their DS 3 RRC.
Four DS 3 R3s have also been entered by Abu Dhabi Racing. These four cars have been entrusted to talented young local drivers, led by defending Junior and two-wheel drive champion, Mohamed Al Mutawaa.
A month after securing an important second place at the first round of the 2015 Middle East Rally Championship season, Khalid Al Qassimi and Chris Patterson return to action in Kuwait in their DS 3 RRC.

Winner of the event in 2010, Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi is aiming for the same result at the 2015 edition: "The Kuwait Rally is one of my favourite events, because the stages are perfectly defined and the surface isn‘t as rough as at the other rounds on the calendar. I was second here last year and I really hope to repeat my performance from 2010, when I won the rally."

Khalid Al Qassimi will be joined at the event by four Abu Dhabi Racing Junior drivers. Competing in two-wheel drive DS 3 R3s, Mohamed Al Mutawaa/Stephen McAuley, Mohammed Al Sahlawi/Craig Parry, Mansoor Belhelei/Khalid Al Kendi and Saeed Bintouq/Allan Harryman get their 2015 season underway at the Kuwait Rally. Their goal will be to pick up experience. Mohamed Al Mutawaa, the defending champion, will provide a benchmark for his team-mates, before preparing to start his season in the FIA Junior WRC.
