Falcón working hard for more ERC action

Emma Falcón, the winner of the ERC Ladies’ Trophy in 2018, wants to expand her FIA ERC1 Junior Championship campaign with an outing on July’s Rally di Roma Capitale a target for the Canary Islander.
Falcón will make her debut in the category for young stars in R5 cars on her home round of the ERC this week driving an Escuderia Fuertwagen Motorsport-prepared Citroën C3 R5.
Although her Spanish championship programme is her priority in 2019 as she builds her experience of R5 machinery, Falcón is keen to add more ERC events to her schedule.
“I am working hard to be on Rally di Roma Capitale with this car, too,” said Falcón, who is continuing her partnership with co-driver Eduardo González. “My main goal on Rally Islas Canarias will be to finish because I don’t have enough kilometres in the car and it’s very different to my previous cars.
“I want to improve and get used to it, trying to make the gap with the rest of the ERC1 Junior drivers as short as possible.”
