ERC Juniors Munster and Tsouloftas on form in Belgium and Cyprus

ERC Juniors Grégoire Munster and Alexandros Tsouloftas have already celebrated 2019 rally wins in their native Belgium and Cyprus respectively.

Munster took Belgian Junior championship honours on last weekend’s Rally van Haspengouw in a BMA Autosport Opel ADAM R2 in a strong P14 overall, commenting afterwards that it had been “purely a perfect rally”.

Also on Rally van Haspengouw, former ERC Junior Sébastien Bedoret finished third overall in a ŠKODA Fabia R5.

Meanwhile, in Cyprus earlier this month, Tsouloftas drove his family-run Citroën DS3 R5 to victory on the East Safari Rally in Cyprus ahead of Petros Panteli. Simos Galatariotis, who won the ERC-counting Cyprus Rally last June, was 3.7s behind Tsoulotfas with one stage remaining prior to his withdrawal.

Munster and Tsouloftas will compete in the FIA European Rally Championship’s ERC3 Junior and ERC1 Junior categories respectively this season. The Azores Rallye hosts the opening round from 21-23 March.
