ERC debutant Larsen can’t wait to experience the Azores
Promising Norwegian driver Frank Tore Larsen says he can't wait to experience the Azores Airlines Rallye when he makes his FIA European Rally Championship debut this week.
The 25-year-old has had his heart set on a foray into the ERC since the start of the year, and will make a long-awaited maiden appearance in a Ford Fiesta R5 on the spectacular island event.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to making my ERC debut in the Azores, both because I think ERC is a great platform with good drivers and organisation, but also because the Azores is maybe the most beautiful rally in the world. I have seen it many times on television before and can't wait to experience the stages myself."
The Azores Airlines Rallye gets underway on Thursday (2 June) with the Qualifying Stage followed by the first four special stages.
