Ehrlacher vows to learn from the best in WTCR 2019

Yann Ehrlacher has said teaming up with World Touring Car champions Thed Björk, Yvan Muller and Andy Priaulx at Cyan Racing is the “best place to be” as he embarks on his second season in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO.

Ehrlacher was announced as the fourth Lynk & Co 03 TCR driver for 2019 late last year. But Rather than being daunted by the prospect of joining forces with the world title-winning trio, the 22-year-old Frenchman is determined to make the most of the opportunity.

“I have three team-mates who are world champions with eight titles shared between them, which is actually huge,” said Ehrlacher, a double winner in the 2018 WTCR. “It will only be my third season at this level so I have plenty of things to learn, plenty of experience to take. It’s definitely the best place to be, a big chance.”
