Ehrlacher claims TAG Heuer Best Lap Trophy at WTCR Race of Hungary
Frenchman Yann Ehrlacher added the TAG Heuer Best Lap Trophy to his haul of silverware at WTCR Race of Hungary at the Hungaroring.
On Saturday, Ehrlacher had won the opening race of the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO weekend in Hungary. After power-loss problems on Sunday in Race 2, he managed a fourth place finish in the 17-lap finale driving his ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport Honda Civic Type R TCR.
But despite missing out on the podium, he still managed to set the fastest lap of the race with a time of 1m54.129s to claim the TAG Heuer Best Lap Tophy.
His mark in a race interrupted by rain was faster than the best laps set in the first and second races, by team-mate Esteban Guerrieri and wildcard entry Dániel Nagy respectively.
