Dupont in the WTCR points

Denis Dupont's wait for his first points in the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO is over after he placed eighth in Race 1 at WTCR Race of Slovakia last weekend.

The RACB National Team driver had been on the cusp of a breakthrough score but his patience paid off with his fist top 10 of the campaign in his Audi Sport Team Comtoyou R3 LMS.

And Dupont wasn't the only driver to score for the Belgian Comtoyou squad in Race 1: team-mates Aurélien Panis and Nathanaël Berthon followed him home in ninth and P10 respectively.

Meanwhile, Frédéric Vervisch, in a fourth Comtoyou Audi, matched Dupont's achievement in Race 2 before holding on for a fine podium in Race 3.
