D-40: China WTCR countdown continues with the Ningbo numbers

The Ningbo International Speedpark will host part one of the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO's China double-header from 28-30 September. Here are the big numbers with 40 days to go.

4.010: A lap of the Ningbo International Speedpark is 4.010 kilometres.

21: The track is made up of 21 corners and is between 12-18 metres in width.

1m53.178s: Andy Yan's 1m53.178s qualifying best in an Audi RS 3 LMS on 27 October 2017 is currently the fastest time around Ningbo in a TCR car.

1m53.355s: Meanwhile, Sunny Wong, driving a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, set the race lap record with a 1m53.355s effort on 28 October.

64.160: Race 3 at WTCR Race of China-Ningbo is scheduled to run for 16 laps over a distance of 64.160 kilometres.

3: Three WTCR OSCARO races are timetabled at Ningbo with Race 1 and Race 2 due to cover 13 laps apiece.

122: It took 122 million euros and 500 people to turn what was a disused quarry into a state-of-the-art motorsport venue.

10: Just 10 of the WTCR OSCARO drivers set to contest WTCR Race of China-Ningbo have previously raced at the Zhejiang province track.

5: Gabriele Tarquini made a comeback to FIA touring car racing when he subbed for the injured Tiago Monteiro at WTCC Race of China at Ningbo last October. He qualified fifth and scored a weekend best of fourth, only to be excluded in the weeks that followed due a technical infringement.

3: Tarquini will return to Ningbo leading the WTCR OSCARO standings, albeit by a slender three-point margin in his BRC Racing Team Hyundai i30 N TCR (pictured).
