Comtoyou and Panis shine on ice ahead of WTCR season
Comtoyou Racing will head into the inaugural FIA World Touring Car Cup season on a high following its capture of the Andros Trophy Teams' Championship at Super Besse in France last weekend.
The Belgian squad, which will field an Audi RS3 LMS-mounted team in WTCR, triumphed in the ice racing series with its line-up of Audi Q1 Quattros driven by Benoît Tréluyer, Nathanael Berthon, Louis Gervoson and Lionel Daziano.
Aurélien Panis, who will form part of Comtoyou Racing's WTCR attack, was also in action in the Andros Trophy Super Besse season finale, clinching the Électrique title, albeit for the Plastic'Up team.
The 2018 WTCR begins at the semi-permanent Circuit Moulay El Hassan in Marrakech, Morocco from 7-8 April. Comtoyou Racing has also announced the signing of Denis Dupont as team-mate to Panis.
