Bostanci bringing it home in ERC3 on Acropolis Rally

Murat Bostanci is in control of the ERC3 class on the SEAJETS Acropolis Rally with three stages remaining.

The Castrol Ford Team Türkiye driver took up the category lead when Łukasz Pieniążek dropped out with a broken gearbox on the last of Saturday's stages.

Bostanci was quickest in the category on stages seven and eight, before opting for a more reserved approach on the 33.86 kilometres of SS9: "I am very lucky I have a big gap, so we did not have to push."

Bostanci is three minutes clear of second-placed Zoltán Bessenyey, who beat the Turk by 1.3s to win SS9. Alex Filip continues to hold third in his similar Renault Clio R3T having also set some decent times during the morning.
