Berthon is best for Comtoyou in WTCR

Nathanaël Berthon was Comtoyou Racing's best performer when the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO visited the Hungaroring last weekend.

Berthon scored a Hungary high of P11 in Race 1 and backed that up with P14 and P16 in the two Sunday races, his efforts earning his Belgian entrant its first teams' championship points of 2018.

However, despite coming out on top of the Comtoyou ranking, the Frenchman was far from satisfied. "It's always good to be the first of your team, as we are a team of four drivers and the other drivers are good drivers, but the team worked really well, so it's really frustrating to not have good results. We're too far from the others and this is really frustrating. Also the behaviour of other drivers during the race is something I've never experienced.

"This is only my second race in touring cars and if I have to behave like that, I'll do it, but it's not something that I like. It's touring cars people will say, but it's not my perception of sport. I had a chat with Rob [Huff], and he told me ‘don't worry, at the front it's not like this', but at the moment we're at the back and with the drivers that behave like this. I hope it's something that will change in the future."
