All-change for Monteiro, all-yellow for Coronel in WTCR
Boutsen Ginion Racing used the first day of a two-day test at Dutch track Zandvoort yesterday to reveal the livery of the two Honda Civic TCRs it will enter in this season's WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO.
Tiago Monteiro's striking black and red Civic is pictured left and will carry Brose and Castrol support, while Coronel's all-yellow version features significant DHL branding in deference to his main sponsor. Monteiro, a long-term member of the Honda Racing family, previously raced a yellow, red and green-liveried Civic in the World Touring Car Championship.
Coronel said: "I won races in TCR Benelux with Boutsen Ginion Racing last year and it seems that the new Civic TCR car is an improvement in all areas, so I'm confident we can develop a very fast and effective package."
Olivier Lainé, Boutsen Ginion Racing Team Principal, said: "We are extremely excited to unveil our new Honda Civic TCRs, which I think will be extremely strong cars due to the development work done by JAS Motorsport.
