AGM-Jimco X6 SCORE Trophy Truck: Our Pitstop at the IAA!
For all of us motor racing people, the Internationale Automobil Ausstellung at Frankfurt is a must. There's no doubt about it, I'll be at one of the world's most important motor shows. But this year the IAA is much more than just business for me. I'll have good fun because our technology partner Schaeffler showcases desert racing big time. With our mighty Trophy Truck flying the Schaeffler colours they have built up a very realistic desert pit stop in hall 5.1 at their A04 stand. Everything is there. except the rattlesnakes.

And here comes the highlight: on 14 September I'll be at the Schaeffler stand to tackle a desert circuit on a Playstation. You're all invited to Schaeffler to try and beat my lap time. The race is on until 22 September when I'll return to Frankfurt to announce the winner. And the prize is incredible. The winner will travel with me to the Baja 1000 in November for
a week. So come along and visit us at Schaeffler at the IAA - it might be the start of a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for you.
At the Schaeffler stand you'll have the chance to get an impression of our technology partner's cutting-edge technological competence. We are lucky enough to enjoy Schaeffler's ongoing support with all kinds of parts and
processes. From high-tech bearings to a torque converter or the stress analysis of certain components in our Trophy Truck. By the way, you may be interested in having a look at the Schaeffler job board - there are super interesting jobs around at Schaeffler.
AGM Trophy Truck in Action
On 23 September I'm off to the States to compete at the Moapa Big Horn 300. The Big Horn is an area situated in an American native reservation roughly an hour's drive northwest of Las Vegas around the town of Moapa. The circuit
is new but I hear it's very rough terrain. Just the kind of stuff you'd expect from a true desert race. Well, All German Motorsports will be well prepared and ready to go, no doubt about that. Schaeffler's press officer Joerg Walz will be with us to show a group of journalists around. They'll see the LuK Technology Center at Wooster between Detroit and Cleveland first, then we'll take them into the desert to show them what real racing is about.
Things look very promising for the future of desert racing in the USA. Roger Norman, the boss of SCORE and HDRA as the two most important racing series, is working on one major championship series which would very likely consist of four races in the US and three rounds in Mexico. This would be just great news!
AGM 15 - Schwarz / Christensen
That's the news from my side at present. But I can't finish writing without saying a huge thank you to all our partners. You will have heard that our brand-new engine blew up three miles into the Vegas to Reno race. And you may have heard that race engines are not really cheap. Still, the engine failure didn't turn into a major problem for All German Motorsports because all of our partners pulled together and within a short time we were able to replace the engine - ready for the next race. Well, great things happen sometimes. This was surely one of them. Thank you all. .
See you at the Schaeffler stand in Frankfurt!
