24H Le Mans - Hour Eight

Night has fallen and the race is settling into a rhythm for some, although it's been far from easy for others. Audi remain in the top three positions in LM P1 and both Rebellion Racing cars are now in 4th and 5th overall, with the first LM P2 car - currently the No.48 Murphy Prototypes Oreca Nissan - in 6th place.

GTE Pro is still providing the closest battle, with the top six cars all with a chance of victory. Porsche and Corvette are trading the lead in GTE Am, the No.67 IMSA Performance Matmut and No.50 Larbre Competition teams ahead of a steadily-climbing Krohn Racing Ferrari 458 Italia.

There have now been six retirements from the race : the No.16 Pescarolo 03, No.29 Gulf Racing Middle East Lola, No.8 Toyota TS 030 Hybrid, No.81 Ferrari 458 Italia, No.99 Aston Martin Vantage and, most recently, the No.0 Nissan DeltaWing.
