24H Le Mans: Hour 14 Safety Car

There have been some changes as the night draws to a close including a change of overall leader. Former two-time winner Allan McNish is now leading in the No.2 Audi R18 e-tron quattro after the No.1 Audi glanced the wall at the Porsche Curves. LMP2 remains steady, and it's worth noting that the leading LM P2 car is 7th overall in the standings.

The Safety Car came out just before 0500 hrs thanks to a heavy collision with the tyre barriers by the No.75 Prospeed Competition Porsche 911, and the No.77 Team Felbermayr Proton Porsche that was holding third place in the GTE Pro category is still stuck out on track. Ferrari is still ahead in GTE Pro, with Aston Martin chasing hard, and the No.50 Corvette has leapt ahead of the No.67 Porsche in the Am category.

The two GTE Pro Corvettes have, most unusually, had a dreadful time at Le Mans. Drivetrain issues on the No.74 has dropped it 35 laps behind the class leader, and the No.73 has also suffered technical problems.
