Citroën wins the FIA WTCC Manufacturers' title in Shanghai

The Citroën C-Elysée WTCCs recorded a magnificent one-two-three-four in Shanghai, as José María López won race one ahead of Ma Qing Hua, Yvan Muller and Sébastien Loeb. This unprecedented clean sweep ensured Citroën became Manufacturers’ World Champion. This is the first international championship that Citroën has won on the track, after five Cross Country Rally World Cups and eight WRC titles. In the Drivers’ World Championship, José María López moved another step closer to the title, which he will have the chance of winning at the next round in Suzuka (24-26 October). // Les Citroën C-Elysée WTCC ont réalisé un magnifique quadruplé à Shanghai, avec José María López victorieux devant Ma Qing Hua, Yvan Muller et Sébastien Loeb. Ce carton plein permet à Citroën de devenir Champion du Monde des Constructeurs. Il s’agit de la première couronne internationale de Citroën sur les circuits, après cinq titres en Rallye-Raid et huit en WRC. Au Championnat du Monde ‘Pilotes’, José María López fait un pas supplémentaire vers le sacre, qu’il pourra décrocher lors de la prochaine manche à Suzuka (24-26 octobre).
