Zandvoort head “proud” WTCR will feature on Jumbo Racedagen bill with Max Verstappen

Bernhard van Oranje used today's Jumbo Racedagen launch event to reveal his sense of pride that the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO will join Max Verstappen on the event timetable.

Zandvoort is hosting the motorsport extravaganza from 19-21 May with Dutch ace Verstappen performing several demonstration runs in a Red Bull Formula One car.

A spokesperson for the event said: "The media were impressed with the video of the FIA WTCR races from Morocco. It was an action-packed video and offered plenty of thrills to look forward to. Bernhard van Oranje took the stage to talk about WTCR and that he is proud that such a great series is part of the weekend with the former World Touring Car champions and Tom Coronel."

As as well as three WTCR races, the Jumbo Racedagen will feature a caravan race and a Ladies' Cup event. The TCR Europe series will also appear on the bill. More than 100,000 people are expected to attend and tickets and more information is available by clicking here.
