WTCR working very well, says FIA President Todt

FIA President Jean Todt says the new-for-2018 WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO is "working very well".

Speaking on the opening day of the governing body's sixth annual Sport Conference in Manila, Philippines (4-6 June), Mr Todt gave more than 200 delegates representing 93 countries an update on the federation's major championships, including the WTCR, which he said was producing "exciting racing".

From four events, five customer racing brands have celebrated race wins, while eight drivers have taken victories.

WTCR Race of Portugal is next on the schedule with Vila Real in the north of the country hosting the action from 22-24 June.
