WRC at Spobis
WRC promoter boss Oliver Ciesla showcased the FIA World Rally Championship at Europe's leading sports business congress in Germany this week.
Ciesla was a headline speaker at the two-day SPOBIS conference in Düsseldorf, as decision makers debated key topics shaping the future of the sports business industry.
The summit was attended by more than 3,000 top managers from sports associations, leagues, clubs, technology companies and digital enterprises. Also present were sponsorship experts and executives from media enterprises.
Ciesla outlined the exceptional opportunities for partners and suppliers to integrate their products and services in the WRC, in its media production activities and digital offers.
He was accompanied by DJI marketing director André Becker. DJI is the world's leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging technology and an official supplier of the WRC. Last week DJI presented its latest innovation, the Mavic Air, at the start of the WRC season in Monte- Carlo.
They highlighted how drones have revolutionised the production of television footage in rallying.
