World RX 2018: Sebastien Loeb Racing set for next challenge

Not content with simply driving in the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy, Sebastien Loeb brings his successful eponymous team to the series in 2018 too.

A team as versatile as the driver with his name above the door, Sebastien Loeb Racing has already enjoyed success in the FIA World GT Series and World Touring Car Championship in recent years, while its new World RX commitments this year will be dovetailed with a title-challenging effort in the new World Touring Car Cup (WTCR).

Bolstering the 208 Supercar ranks to four alongside the trio of official Team Peugeot Total entries, Gregoire Demoustier makes the full-time switch to World RX as an individual entrant mirroring his team by arriving with experience from GT and touring car racing.

The Belgian made seven starts in World RX last season driving the DA Racing Peugeot, experience he is looking to capitalise on when he lines up in 2018.

"The car was only finished last week but I am pretty confident with what we can do with this car this year," he said. "First to develop the car and to develop myself and then we will see."
