The WTCR direction’s right for Shedden

Gordon Shedden reckons his 2019 WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO campaign is “going in the right direction” after his triple points score in Morocco last weekend.

Shedden, driving an Audi RS 3 LMS for Leopard Racing Team Audi Sport, scored a Marrakech-best seventh in Race 3 having finished P14 and P15 in the earlier races.

“It was a good weekend,” said the Scottish driver, who appears on the #WTCR2019SUPERGRID as a three-time British Touring Car champion. “We stayed out of trouble, and the car felt good, but quite often I was just stuck in the queue and from there, there’s nowhere to go here.

“We’ve got a lot of work to do before Hungary, but everything’s going in the right direction. We’ll keep chipping away. You also need a bit of luck and need the cards to fall your way.”
