Polestar Cyan Racing
What it did? Beat Honda to the FIA World Touring Car Championship for Manufacturers thanks to victories by Björk, Nicky Catsburg and Néstor Girolami plus seven top scores in the Manufacturers Against the Clock team time trial.

What he said? Alexander Murdzevski Schedvin, Head of Motorsport at Polestar. "We entered the championship last year with a five-year plan to become world champions. We did it in just two years. We have exceeded all of our expectations and goals this season. Thed Björk has done an awesome job and is a worthy champion. The team has put down thousands and thousands of hours together to claim the world title, I can't thank them enough. This is the proudest moment in the history of our team and I am so proud to be able to say that we are the world champions."

Tom Chilton
What he did? With six wins, the Briton clinched the WTCC Trophy for independent racers in a dramatic three-way showdown in Qatar.

What he said? "This is a dream come true. The WTCC drivers are some of the best in the world and we pushed each other so hard. I was delighted with third place overall, the best by an independent driver in the TC1 era, and to win the WTCC Trophy. I am incredibly proud of my team, Sébastien Loeb Racing, and very grateful to my sponsor, A.J. Gallagher, for for putting me in a position to challenge the best."

Sébastien Loeb Racing
What it did? Made it back-to-back titles in the WTCC Teams' Trophy. Mehdi Bennani and Tom Chilton were the French squad's star performers, while John Filippi and Ma Qing Hua also raced for the team co-owned by nine-time world rally champion Sébastien Loeb.

What he said? Dominique Heintz, co-founder, Sébastien Loeb Racing. "I am especially proud of the whole team, without whom our drivers couldn't have achieved such performances."
