Test spy: Toyota

Toyota Gazoo Racing has been making the most of the summer break before next month's Neste Rally Finland (26-29 july) by testing in the finnish forests with its trio of drivers.

The team recorded a memorable victory at last year's event, when WRC rookie Esapekka Lappi secured his first win for the Japanese manufacturer during only his fourth appearance in a World Rally Car.

As part of its final preparations for this year's rally, the Finnish-based team has been using the forests close to its base in Puuppola to put the Yaris WRC through its paces.

Jari-Matti Latvala was first to get behind the wheel, testing the car on 13 - 14 June. He then handed over to Lappi, who also tested for two days before Ott Tänak completed the testing programme on 20 June.

Thanks to some the WRC's loyal fans - Mika Pasanen, H&R-Channel and TheTeevoman - who went to watch the testing action in the forests, we can bring you some spectacular YouTube footage of all three drivers in action.
