SUPERSTARS WORLD set to line-up for round 3 at Slovakia Ring

The SUPERSTARS WORLD is ready to be back roaring on-track at Slovakia Ring for round 3 of the 2013 season. The SUPERSTARS and GTSPRINT teams and drivers will line-up on the next 9th of June with the goal of providing fans with an exciting show.

SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL SERIES: THOMAS BIAGI LINES-UP AS THE MAN TO BEAT

On the brand-new Slovakian track, the many car brands of SUPERSTARS will be at the top of their game. The two works Mercedes C63 AMGs of Mercedes-AMG Romeo Ferraris will be again the cars to beat with Thomas Biagi and Vitantonio Liuzzi currently holding first and second place in standings thanks to the wins scored at Monza and Brno. After Biagi scored a bold Race 1 victory in Czech Republic though, it was quick Giovanni Berton to impress as he brought the BMW brand back at the top of the podium with the Team BMW Dinamic M3 E92 model. His team-mates Max Mugelli and Mauro Trentin will also be part of the mix while former open wheel runner Edoardo Piscopo, who made his SUPERSTARS debut in the previous round, will be on another Bavarian machine for team RGA. The two manufacturer-supported Audi RS5 racers of Ferdinando Geri and four-time SUPERSTARS champion Gianni Morbidelli are set to be some of the toughest challengers with the Pesaro-based man aiming for a rebound. Luigi Ferrar a, lining-up aboard a Mercedes C63 AMG Coupè has been one of the major star of the pack at Monza with two podium finishes, and he confirmed that impression with a second place at Brno. More power is set to come from the Solaris Motorsport Chevrolet Camaro of Francesco Sini and the two Jaguar XFR (Adria Racing System) of "Diabolik" and Andrea Larini.

In the last round, SUPERSTARS also featured a top return as Fabrizio Giovanardi was back under the Porsche banner with Petri Corse. The Italian-based outfit confirmed a 2-car line-up consisting of him and Massimiliano Fantini. The RC Motorsport Cadillac CTS-V of Roberto Benedetti will once again provide the pack with some American muscle while, last but not least, defending the colours of Mercedes-Benz will be the team with the most starts in the championship, CAAL Racing, with Andrea Bacci and Leonardo Baccarelli.

GTSPRINT INTERNATIONAL SERIES: TOP CARS SET THE TONE AS AUDI, CORVETTE, FERRARI, MASERATI AND PORSCHE BATTLE FOR THE GTS3 CROWN

The third round of the GTSPRINT INTERNATIONAL SERIES is also set to take-off in Slovakia to join SUPERSTARS in a spectacular SWR-style weekend. The track, built close to Bratislava, will welcome some international-level contenders. The Ferrari 458 Italia GTS3 will be the weapon of choice of Team Ombra Racing, with two cars for Mario Cordoni/Massimo Mantovani and Brazilian Fernando Croce. More 458 racecars will be fielded by Dino and Co Racing, with Slovakians Patrik Tkac and Andj Studenic sharing driving duties, by RPD Racing with the Czech pair of Michael Vorba and Lubomir Jakubik, and by AR Cars Racing with fellow countrymen Dennis Waszek and David Palmi.

After the tough breaks suffered at Brno, Maserati will be looking for a prompt rebound and Swiss Team will leave nothing unattempted, relying on their Granturismo MC GT3 racer driven by Max Pigoli and Andrea Dromedari. Italy won't be the only country represented on-track as German engineering is set to be as usual one great contender for everybody else. After scoring his first win of the season at Brno, Glauco Solieri will be back on the Autorlando Sport Porsche 997 in a much-anticipated race for him, while MTM Motorsport will return with their Audi R8 LMS. Finnish racer Antti Buri is expected to join team's regular Thomas Schoffler.
