Superstars: Luigi Ferrara sets his sights on victory
Nico Caldarola and his team are leaving nothing unattempted in their SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL SERIES quest for wins as they rely on quick Luigi Ferrara (a runner-up in the 2010 and 2011 championships). After the two podium finishes scored at Monza, they are definitely eager for more.
The Mercedes C63 AMG Coupé fielded by Roma Racing Team showed-up for the first time last year and showcased some impressive potential throughout the closing stages of the season. For 2013, the goal is to make a further step towards victory.
For the next round of the season, SUPERSTARS will be lining-up for the first time in Czech Republic, on May the 19th, and Roma Racing Team will field an upgraded car.
"We had a couple of good races at Monza - said Ferrara - but I'm not fully satisfied yet. Our car was not at its full potential as I suffered from a lot of understeer exiting from Lesmo and Parabolica. Nonetheless, we ended up with two valuable third-place finishes. The team is working very hard on the car, especially at the front. We have a new bumper with two additional wings, and of course we're respecting the SUPERSTARS rules! I really like the track at Brno but I know it's not the most suitable for Mercedes. I expect Audi to be very strong, especially Gianni Morbidelli. This season I'm aiming for the title and I think it's in our frame judging for the support that RRT has provided me so far."
