Superstars: Gianni Morbidelli aims for more glory
With four SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL SERIES titles, two of them with Audi Sport Italia, Gianni Morbidelli is looking forward to regain the crown in 2013 aboard one of the German manufacturer's 500-horsepower Audi RS5 racecars.
The Pesaro-based man has always been a major name in the Audi field and last season, in addition to finishing 4th in the International standings, he cruised to two sensational double wins at Donington Park and Spa-Francorchamps.
A former F.1 driver, Morbidelli is a veteran of 67 Grand Prix starts. His resume includes a stint as a test-driver for Ferrari and a 6th place with the Maranello-based constructor at the 1991 Australian GP. For 2013, he's set to keep the Audi banner high once again as he prepares to line-up on April the 7th for the SUPERSTARS season opener at Monza.
