Retaliation in Latvia?

During this year edition of Magam Trophy we could have admired numerous teams from Latvia. They did really well on boggy areas. Who wants to see the Latvians again (or join the competition) on their area should plan the trip to Latvia on the 17th-19^th August. Our Latvian friends invite you to Alūksne region, where the Stiga Trophy Rally takes place.

This year Stiga Trophy is the first stage of the Trophy Rallies of the North European Zones (NEZ) Championship and the fifth stage of the Latvia Trophy Championship. It is organized as the three days long international off-road festival, where the prototypes of the 4x4 cars, constructed by the european and russian specialists, compete. The participants from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Russia will participate. Are there gonna be drivers from Poland and Western Europe? As planned, there are about 70 teams to take part. As usual in the NEZ championship, cars will be divided into classes: TR-1, TR-2, TR-3, OPEN and ATV (quads).

Stiga Trophy Competition will be located in the northern part of Latvia, in the Alūksne region, which is recognizable as one of the best places to organize the off-road competitions in Latvia. It is the area of the very varied surface: woodlands, meadows, trenches, mountains, quarries, sand and gravel, peat swamps, clayey sheathing, rivers, lakes... The region is also famous for its flooded meadows and little islands floating on the water.

Every day the participants will have to overcome 2 to 3 special stages. They will also have to find the control points placed in the area by organizers. On Saturday and Sunday, in the recreational base Luksti the viewers could have the use of several attractions. On the Sunday evening the final prices ceremony will take place.
