Qualifying form boosts Team Mulsanne Alfa Romeo WTCR squad

Kevin Ceccon's top-10 qualifying effort at WTCR Race of China-Wuhan last week has given Team Mulsanne another boost as it gets closer to the front in the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO.

Driving an Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR, Ceccon was eighth quickest in First Qualifying on the Wuhan International Street Circuit last Saturday and climbed to places in Race 1 before claiming eighth in Race 3.

"We harvested some great results last weekend," said Michela Cerruti of Romeo Ferraris, the company behind the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR. "We have conquered with Kevin, on a treacherous urban track such as Wuhan, an unprecedented result in qualifying that has allowed us to score points in the races, but also and foremost, we have proved that our car can now compete with rivals also in qualifying."
