- A CO2 emissions saving of 20g/km for the 2.0 dCi engine has seen the 'eco-surtax' applied in France come down by €550.
- New Renault Espace packs a raft of standard equipment, with a panoramic electric glass sunroof, DVD/DivX player (with two seven-inch screens incorporated in the front head rests and two infrared headphones), connected Carminat TomTom Live® navigation, a hands-free card, an electronic parking brake, full connectivity (including Bluetooth® audio streaming) and alloy wheels all available from the first equipment level.
More economical engines see French 'eco-surtax' fall by €550
Coupled with a six-speed gearbox, the 2.0 dCi engine now emits just 150g of CO2/km* (down 20g/km), equivalent to fuel consumption of 5.7 litres/100km*. This has brought the eco-surtax applied in France down by €550.
Mated to automatic transmission, the same 2.0 dCi engine emits 169g of CO2/km* (down 20g/km), equivalent to fuel consumption of 6.4 litres/100km* (down 0.8 litres). Once again, the eco-surtax applied in France has come down by €550.
In France, these CO2 emissions savings represent a net fiscal benefit of €1,300 for businesses, in addition to the everyday fuel savings they permit.
The 2.0 dCi is available in three versions: 130hp, 150hp and 175hp. The latter is only available with six-speed automatic transmission.
Three extensively-equipped version

The back window opens to provide access to the boot, while the perforated leather 'Riviera' upholstery is combined with electrically-adjustable front seats. The dashboard is embellished by visible stitching which contributes to the elegance of the carefully-appointed cabin. The Initiale version sits on specific 17-inch Monterey alloy wheels.
New Renault Espace is as modular as ever thanks to rails which allow the rear seats to be positioned in an extremely wide variety of positions, whatever the equipment level. New Renault Espace's versatile cabin enables up to seven passengers to enjoy a particularly high level of comfort.
