Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG celebrates the world premiere of the new 911 Carrera at the IAA International Motor Show in Frankfurt. The new generation of the world's best-selling sports cars debuts with innovative biturbo flat engines, an advanced chassis and new Porsche Communication Management. Porsche will unveil the new sports car to the public for the first time at the press conference which will take place on the Porsche stand in Hall 3 at 11:05 (CET) on September 15.
A live transmission in German and English will take place at the following link: http://porsche.gomexlive.com/.
Thanks to more than forty years of experience with turbocharged engines - both in motorsport and in production sports cars - the newly developed engines in the 911 Carrera set new records when it comes to performance, driving pleasure and efficiency. The 911 Carrera has a power output of 370 hp (272 kW) and the 911 Carrera S 420 hp (309 kW). In both cases this is a power gain of 20 hp (15 kW).
