Neste to continue as Latvian RX sponsor
World RX of Latvia and RA Events have today confirmed they will continue their partnership with Neste as the company commits to support the Latvian round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy for a further two years. The event name - Neste World RX of Latvia - will not be changed, with the Riga event set to take place from 16-17 Spetember, 2017.
RA EVENTS director Raimonds Strokšs commented: "In business, just like in sports, you need to have a long-term plan and the right team to reach the best results - they will give you energy to fulfil your goals and provide advice to do so effectively. Thank you to Neste, who have trusted us since 2011 and have helped us reach higher and higher goals - all the way up to a World Championship event. I would like to encourage other companies to evaluate the possibility of becoming a part of a World Rallycross Championship event, thereby valuing the importance of such an event and its benefits to not only Latvia, but worldwide."
