Media vote Mighty Macau all-time best WTCC track
Macau's Circuito da Guia is the FIA World Touring Car Championship's best circuit of all-time according to a panel of media representing 18 countries.
They were asked to consider their top three tracks used by the WTCC from 2005-2017 - the period when the championship was promoted by Eurosport Events - with points allocated on a 3-2-1 basis.
The 6.120-kilometre street track made 10 WTCC appearances between 2005-2014 before it returned to the schedule last month when Mehdi Benanni and Rob Huff shared the wins.
Macau scored 43 points with the Nürburgring Nordschleife earning 27 points and Monza 16. Slovakia Ring scored 10 points, Brands Hatch Grand Prix and Vila Real seven apiece, Salzburgring six and Hungaroring and Sonoma five.
Media also voted for their all-time best driver and car. Yvan Muller topped the all-time driver poll with the Citroën C-Elysée coming out top of the all-time car vote.
