Lisowski wins the pole
Mateusz Lisowski clinched pole position before the first round of Volkswagen Castrol Cup 2013. The Swede Rasmus Marthen scored
second time and third overall was the winner of two practice sessions, Robertas Kupcikas from Lithuania.
Mateusz Lisowski was faster than Marthen, a former Scirocco R-Cup driver by less than half a second. After Robertas Kupcikas there was Jakub Litwin who also competed in Scirocco R-Cup in 2012 season. Klaudia Podkalicka was the fastest woman. The Szczecin resident will start tomorrow's competition in P16. It was a pretty good result for Jerzy Dudek starting as a VIP driver. The Polish goalkeeper, winner of Champions League 2005 scored 14. time.

Everything is great. Right from the beginning of the practice we have been doing our plan, which pays off. I'm very happy with the result and also with the cooperation with my engineer Piotr Zukowski. The car was fantastic. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's race. I hope the track will be wet.

I like Tor Poznan very much. I didn't have much time to get used to it however. I'm very happy with the result, although my aim was pole position. I really expected Mateusz Lisowski will be so fast here.
Robertas Kupcikas
I was third in qualifications so it is not bad. During the first race I'll race from second line, which is good. Unfortunately I wasn't lucky while adjusting tire pressures. Tomorrow I'll do my best to score a good result.
