It’s nice on ice for WTCR drivers, teams
The entry for the 2018/19 Trophée Andros has a distinctly WTCR OSCARO flavour to it.
Nathanaël Berthon (pictured), Aurélien Comte and Aurélien Panis are all taking part in the popular ice-racing series, which takes place over six events in France and Andorra starting with this weekend’s visit to Val Thorens (8-9 December).
The trio were all point-scorers in the inaugural WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO with Comte claiming a breakthrough victory at WTCR Race of Netherlands.
Race-winning WTCR OSCARO team Comtoyou Racing is travelling from Belgium to contest the series with a pair of Audi A1 Quattros for Berthon and Olivier Panis, the ex-Formula One driver and father of Aurélien, who is driving for leading FIA European Rally Championship entrant Saintéloc Racing.
