In testing: M-Sport Ford and Toyota

Ahead of next weekend's Neste Rally Finland (26-29 july), we take a look at how Toyota Gazoo Racing and M-Sport Ford World Rally Team have been preparing for the ‘Finnish grand prix'.

Toyota's Jari-Matti Latvala and Ott Tänak put the Yaris through its paces in the forests surrounding rally hub Jyväskylä, as the Japanese manufacturer prepares to defend its victory at last year's event courtesy of Esapekka Lappi.

M-Sport Ford has also been testing in the Finnish forests as it continues to evaluate new aero parts which could be used on the Fiesta at the eighth round of the championship.

Testing for the UK-based team was Sébastien Ogier - who is aiming to close the 27-point gap to Thierry Neuville in the drivers' standings - and Teemu Suninen, who was in contention for a podium last year until a penultimate stage crash dropped him to fourth.

Capturing all the action, and interviewing the four drivers, was rally organiser AKK Sports.
